Olá. Este sou eu, formalmente Daniel Duclos, mas respondo melhor por Daniduc (taí a explicação do nome do site), Dani, The Dude (longa história), e todas as mais loucas variações do meu sobrenome que as pessoas inventam. Quem diria que um nome tão simples iria causar confusão? Enfim 
Ok, sobre mim. Eu sou um escritor brasileiro na casa dos trinta (e contando, céus) morando atualmente em Amsterdam, na Holanda. É, de fato é longinho do meu país natal, mas eu tô adorando a experiência. E eu conto tudo sobre ela no blogue escrito a quatro mãos com a minha amável esposa, Carla Duclos, chamado Ducs in Amsterdam. Ah, eu to batalhando pra aprender o holandês, mas eu fui autodidata com o inglês (e depois eu fiz Faculdade de Letras da USP, modalidades Português e Inglês). Sabendo inglês, eu gosto de fazer traduções, e faço isso regularmente com meu chapa Rodrigo Pimentel no Diário do Neil Gaiman, onde nós traduzimos o blog do famoso escritor.
Aqui no Daniduc.net você irá encontrar, além dos meus textos, meus desenhos e fotos. Estou disponível para trabalhos de revisão de textos e de tradução (de preferência do inglês pro português), além de ilustrações. Se você quiser comprar alguma foto minha, também estão à venda. Hello. My name is, formally, Daniel Duclos, but I answer more commonly as Daniduc (as you can gather from the URL of this website ;), The Dude (don’t ask), Dani, and to the most convoluted attempts of writing or pronunciation of my surname. Who’d know, such a simple name causing trouble. Oh well.
Ok, about me. I’m a Brazilian writer on my thirties (and counting, sigh), and I am an expat currently living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Yep, that’s far from Brazil, I know. But I’m loving the experience, and I tell all about it in a blog, written in conjuction with Carla Duclos, my lovely wife, called Ducs in Amsterdam (sorry, it’s in Portuguese only. But it’s full of pictures, so maybe you like it. See “Fotos“). Oh, I’m struggling to learn some Nederlands, but my mother tongue is Portuguese, and I taught myself English (aftewards I went to Universidade de São Paulo, attending the English and Portuguese Language and Literature bachelor course, known as Letras). I like to translate stuff, and I do this regularly with my pal Rodrigo Pimentel in Diário do Neil Gaiman, where we translate the world famous journal.
